This project is a simple yet highly effective 2D animation created to tell the romantic story of Nemorino, the protagonist of the theatrical production Elisir d’Amore presented by Opera Domani. The animation was designed to visually support the narrative of the performance, helping audiences follow the emotional journey and humorous adventures of Nemorino as he navigates love, hope, and misunderstandings. The visual style is based on charming and expressive illustrations created by Agnese Franchini, whose artwork provided the foundation for the entire animated sequence. These illustrations were later adapted and prepared for animation by Giulio Perez, ensuring that the characters and visual elements could move smoothly while preserving the original artistic style. The narrative flow of the animation was carefully planned through a storyboard developed by Roberto Bianchi, which defined the pacing, framing, and storytelling structure. Finally, 4Bit handled the animation process, bringing the drawings to life through motion, timing, and visual rhythm. The result is a light and engaging animated sequence that complements the theatrical production while maintaining a clear and accessible visual language.
