Video for La Sportiva “Strange Heroes : Stefano Ghisolfi”

This episode of the Strange Heroes saga presents climber Stefano Ghisolfi in an unexpected role: a space explorer traveling through a surreal and imaginative universe. The project is part of the “La Sportiva Strange Heroes” video series, produced by the creative studio Sfelab. Each chapter of the series transforms athletes into unique characters within playful and visually distinctive stories. For this particular episode, 4Bit was responsible for the integration of the astronaut helmet, a key visual element of the character. Because the helmet would have been difficult and time-consuming to animate using traditional techniques, the team decided to create a fully digital 3D version. The 3D model allowed precise control over movement, reflections, and perspective, ensuring that the helmet could interact naturally with the live-action footage and animated elements of the scene. To maintain the visual identity of the project, a stylized cartoon look was applied to the 3D model, blending seamlessly with the creative direction of the video. The result is a playful mix of live action and digital animation, where Stefano Ghisolfi becomes a space adventurer in a colorful and imaginative chapter of the Strange Heroes universe.
