Sunset: Broken Embers is a sci-fi third-person shooter set in a near future where humanity has begun colonizing new planets in search of resources depleted on Earth. For this title by 906Games, we developed the main character, handling 3D modeling, texturing, Unreal Engine shading, and animation rig adaptation.
Sunset: Broken Embers is a science fiction third-person shooter set in a near future where humanity has expanded beyond Earth, colonizing distant planets in search of resources that have become scarce on their home world. For this title developed by 906Games, our work focused on the full production of the main character. The process included high-quality 3D modeling, detailed texture creation, and material setup within Unreal Engine to ensure visual consistency with the game’s sci-fi aesthetic. Particular attention was given to surface detail, silhouette readability, and material definition to support both gameplay clarity and cinematic presentation. In addition to asset creation, we also adapted and prepared the animation rig, ensuring compatibility with the game’s animation pipeline and allowing the character to integrate seamlessly into the gameplay systems. The result is a fully production-ready character asset designed to perform efficiently in real-time while maintaining the visual quality required for a modern sci-fi action experience.
